Charleston's newest wedding venue, Lovegrove Estate, officially opened in February 2021 and we couldn't be more excited! Lovegrove Estate is a member of the National Register of Historic Places and dates back to the 17th-century settlement of the original Carolina Colony. It stands along the beautiful oak-lined banks of the Ashley River and features acres of gardens making for a perfect backdrop for your wedding or event!
They host ceremonies and receptions in the romantic outdoor gardens, and they can accommodate a maximum of 350 people under their 40 by 80 reception tent that is included in the rental price for the day. Although we haven’t gotten the chance to work with Lovegrove Estate, we have endless amounts of ideas on how we could transform this beautiful venue into the event of your dreams! Lighting Inspiration:
Chandeliers
Two of our chandeliers that would match the timeless and romantic vibe of Lovegrove Estate are the Darby Chandelier and the Valentina Chandelier. The Darby is a simple gold-geometric chandelier that we love to hang in clusters from reception tents to add a modern look! The Valentina is more elaborate with gold and crystal detailing that looks beautiful when hung from old moss-draped oak trees, such as those at Lovegrove Estate!
Cafe Lights and Twinkle Lights
You can't go wrong with stringing either our Café Lights or Twinkle Lights from the top of your reception tent! You can hang them in many different ways, such as an X, draped like a canopy, zig-zag, and the list goes on. One of our favorite ways to customize them is by combining greenery and florals to match the ambiance of your event!
Custom Lighting
Although we have an abundance of rental lighting options, we also enjoy making custom pieces for our customers to help bring their unique vision to life. The 24-foot hanging structure was made to be separated into two 12-foot long segments, which were decorated with Edison lights, greenery, and florals to match the earthy vibe of the wedding. Our hanging light board is another one of our favorite custom pieces we decorated with Edison lights and greenery to hang from the trees at an outdoor reception!

Moon Arch
Our 7-foot Moon Arch is the perfect unique piece to add to your wedding! We love to use it as an altar especially when wrapped with greenery, florals, and even fairy lights for a picture-perfect backdrop!
Swings
Our Swings are the perfect addition to an outdoor wedding and reception! They are carefully hung from the trees and provide fun photo-ops for you and your guests. Not to mention they are great for entertaining the kids.
